BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH HERITAGE. Liz Ellis incontrerà I corsisti del master

Liz Ellis, Policy Advisor Communities and Diversity dell’Heritage Lottery Fund (UK), incontrerà nei giorni 27 e 28 ottobre 2017 i corsisti del master in Standards for museum education per un seminario dal titolo Building Relationships through heritage.

Il seminario sarà costituito da un’attività pratica sul campo presso il Museo Pigorini di Roma.

Liz Ellis works as Policy Advisor: Communities and Diversity at Heritage Lottery Fund, United Kingdom where she leads on promoting inclusive practice across the heritage sector since 2014.

Initially trained as a mental health nurse, Liz studied BA and MA Fine Art at St Martins School of Art, London.
As Curator Community Learning at Tate Modern 2006-14, Liz led high quality local, national and international partnerships.

These included interdisciplinary programmes with NHS Trusts, mental health organisations, universities and international artists.
In 2012 she obtained MA Human Rights at UCL.
A commitment to social justice and the power of cultural rights informs her practice.

Her research interests include cultural engagement, human rights and mobilising capacity in community development partnerships.
